Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms, and that you accept them in full. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorized to bind that business.

2. The Service

WizKeep is a bookkeeping and financial-organization tool for business owners and their accountants. It lets you record transactions, connect bank accounts to import transactions, scan receipts, generate reports, and share information with an accountant.

The Service is provided for informational and record-keeping purposes only. WizKeep does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, and it does not move money or execute transactions on your behalf.

3. Accounts and Registration

You must provide an accurate email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Bank Connections (Plaid)

If you connect a bank account, that connection is provided through Plaid Inc. Your banking credentials are entered directly with Plaid and are never seen or stored by WizKeep. We receive read-only transaction and balance data. You may disconnect a bank at any time from Settings, which revokes our access.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and included features are shown before you subscribe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.

Depending on where you purchase, billing is handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our web payment processor. Cancellations and refunds are subject to the rules of the store or processor used for the purchase.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access other users’ data, reverse-engineering the Service, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the data and documents you upload. You grant WizKeep a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. WizKeep does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that reports or figures are accurate for tax-filing or legal purposes. You are responsible for verifying your records with a qualified professional.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, WizKeep will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the app (Settings → Delete account) or by requesting deletion at wizkeep.com/delete-account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Certain records may be retained where required by law.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
